-have a purpose for blogging, whether it's to capture what i did that day or whatever, just so i have something to look back on
-have a quote/lyrics for the week/day/month to keep me motivated or on track in life
-keep up with popculture, especially music releases
-have throwbacks on songs from a year+ ago to remind me where i've come from
-have reflections about life and such
